The reality of media education in art and media colleges in universities of Zaitouna and Misurata through application comprehension quality standards.

Faculty of arts and media Misurata University.

Faculty of arts and media Zaitouna University.

Research summary: This research aims to identify the reality of media education through applying comprehensive quality standards in the colleges of arts and media in the universities of Zaitouna and Misurata.

Also it aims to know if there are differences in the nature of media education through applying comprehensive quality standards according to the variable of the university type.

Also to identify the obstacles that faces media education and development in accordance with the principles and standards of comprehensive quality.

Also reaching suggestion that helps improving the quality of media education.

An intentional sample was chosen from the faculty members of the faculties of arts and media in the Universities of Zaitounal and Misurata amounting 18 faculty members.

And the research results reached the following resulting: There are no differences between the mean scores of the sample individuals on the scale according to the type of university variable.

Likewise, media education was exposed to several obstacles, including the lack supporting for the faculty members and raising their levels, lack of capabilities of devices and equipment, lack of appropriate laboratories and electronic libraries and the faculty members are not trained on the equipment's.

Likewise, the colleges are not equipped with places designed for rest and lack of interest in holding conferences, seminars and workshops for colleges and comprehensive quality standards.

As well as the lack of places to train students in all media practices.
