Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the short- and long-term relationship between public expenditures as an independent variable and the labor market as a dependent variable during the period 1990-2018 using the ARDL model to detect a long-term balance between total employment and public expenditure.

The existence of a long-term equilibrium relationship, in addition to the absence of the problem of self-correlation of the sequence of errors with the stability of capabilities over time, and concluded a positive relationship of statistical significance between total employment and government expenditure, which corresponds to economic theory.
