This research paper aims to find out whether foreign aid has an impact on economic growth in India compared to the impact of total capital formation during the period (1970-2017).
It shows that foreign aid has no impact on economic growth due to its small and volatile year to year In contrast, the total capital formation index in India, which had a positive impact on Gross domestic product GDP, was confirmed by the study of econometrics.
