A multimcdia-based program for the development of some of the functional written expression skills For the basic students' stage Master degree in Education - Curriculum and teaching Methods Department- 2017 There is no doubt that the ability for language skills adds depth, richness and diversity for the growth of personality and self-human, and the acquisition of more skills for the arts of human communication is a core point within the context of mental and cognitive development for the human being.
Written expression plays an important role in mastering the achievement, absorbing and understanding of the knowledge and materials; notability of written expression is accompanied by excellence in different study subjects.
Inability to master its skills has a danger on the scientific and on the practical future of the student.
However, we note, that the approaches to the teaching of written expression in the primary stage is in continuous dependence on the traditional methods that reflect a clear weakness in the fundamentals of the education success.
The problem of the study was thus determined by the weakness of the written expression skills of sixth grade pupils and the lack of modern visions and methods that meet the development process of those skills and encounter this problem, the study attempts to answer the following main question: How can a multimedia-based program be developed for the development of some of the functional written expression skills for sixth grade pupils? This question is divided by the following sub-questions: 1.
What are the proper functional written expression skills for the sixth grade students? 2.
How was effective the proposed program in achieving its goal? The study reached several results, including the following: 1.
Designing a program the development of some of the functional written expression skills for the sixth grade students.
2.
The effectiveness of the program in the development of some of the skills of the general functional written expression and the Specific.
3.
There are statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the students' average scores of the experimental and control groups in the post-measurement for the general functional written expression and the individual for the favor of the experimental group.
