The study examined the most important Basel committee and measures of bank risks in order to develop capital adequacy in order to meet the risks, as well as measuring the three risks reviewed by the Basel committee namely the credit risk, market and operational risks, on the implementation of the Basel convention by examining the data of banks shows that the Algerian banking sector does not appropriate conditions for the adoption of Basel committee as a good tool in managing its risks.
