Abstract EN

The research aims to conduct a comprehensive survey of the information departments and libraries in Arab universities to determine the level of representation of information technology applications in their curricula and curricula.

It also aims to analyze the vocabulary of those courses to determine the objective diversity and the applied aspects that are receiving more attention, through a quantitative and qualitative comparison between those sections at the level of the Arab world.

The study concluded that there is a real presence of the curricula that are concerned with the applications of information technology and in varying proportions between the departments in the same country and between them and the corresponding departments in other countries.

The study also concluded that the traditional aspects of office work still retain a greater representation in the curricula and curricula of academic programs for information departments and Arab libraries.
