The Russian-Iranian relationships of 1749-1917 took place in several stages.

The first one was military struggle for control and influence and the annexation of new areas.

This stage continued until 1823, when Russia was able to annex new lands to its property.

It extended until 1906, and Russia obtained important economic investments in Iran which strengthened its political and economic presence and became a strong competitor to Britain in Iran.

The third stage was characterized by the Russian intervention in the internal affairs of Iran.

In 1907 it boycotted the partition of Britain and became the main player in the election of the Iranian Shah and governed the Iranian tourism decision as it forced the Iranian government to end the economic mission of Murrenkhanster.

With the nearest of World War I, Russia intervened militarily in Iran and occupied some of its territory under the pretext of protecting Russian property.

Russia withdrew from Iranian territory and researched the privileges it had obtained in Iran in order to devote its full time to its internal affairs.
