Abstract EN

The training before service plays an important role as it has a positive role in preparing the physical education teacher .This is achieved only through the subjectmatters of scientific education and field training .These subjectmatters permit to the teacher to transfer his theoretical knowledge into field work according to the new approach of teaching by competencies.

Through this research, we tried to put the light on the role of the importance of training courses in preparing the physical and sportive education teacher in competency-based approach in order for him to cope with the latest technological and educational manners to make the educational process successful.

The professional development of the teacher is one of the fundamentals of developing teaching, as it has an important role in developing the teaching performance of the teacher and the development of teaching all the students the necessary competencies to reach a learning society.

The professional development is the basic key to gain the academic and professional competences by either direct activities in official professional training programs or self training programs, especially that we are living in the era of important changes and challenges in order to better the profession of teaching and the quality of learners.

As a result of the contemporary changes that took place in the world in the last years, all countries have considered changes in their educational systems in general and the training of teachers in particular through programs that provide them with educational knowledge and professional skills.

All this is due to the awareness of the changes happening and coping with them.

This research aims to put the light on the great role of scientific education as it is the platform from which the teacher takes his theoretical knowledge and their practice in his educational environment and then turn to the field training as the first step to professional life: if the first step is correct, the last one is as well.
