This study aims at highlight the role of Waqf investment funds in the investment and development of endowments.

This study concluded through the analytical method used that Waqf investment funds contributed to contribute to the realization of waqfs assets returns and the financial sustainability of the non-profit sector.

It also contributed to the financing of development projects, because of its high transparency and regulations and accounting that are able to monitor its performance and monitor the imbalance in the case of the occurrence of the first hand, as demonstrated by the experience of the United States, With endowments investment funds of Harvard university.

Which can used to promote awqaf and activate its economic and social role through its development in the Arab and Islamic countries; while emphasizing the full commitment to Shari'ah controls when choosing projects
