Abstract EN

This study aims to determine the relative importance of influencing factors to Algerian consumers to buy counterfeit auto parts.

In this study a convenience sample has been taken of 103 individual cars, tourist cars and utilitarian cars in Algiers.

It turns out that results indicate the existence of a very strong influence of lower prices, availability, safety of risks as motivation of purchase for the Algerian consumer.

In addition, there are no significant differences in purchasing of the factors affecting the intention of purchasing according to the variables of gender and income and educational level.
