This article aims to clarify the difficulties of transition from the traditional economy to the sustainable economy in Algeria.
Sustainable development has been the overarching goal of the international community since the UN Conference on Environment and Development (1992), it depends on the simultaneous transformation of economic, social and environmental systems, this transition is no longer an option but It is imperative.
Sustainable development also requires mobilization of all resources for a safe and effective transition to sustainability.
The main problem is the extent to which Algeria has adopted mechanisms to meet the environmental and legislative challenges.
The economic and environmental situation requires rapid action with community components to reduce the cost of a shift towards sustainability.

Cet article vise à clarifier les difficultés de transition de l'économie traditionnelle à l'économie durable en Algérie.
Depuis la Conférence des Nations Unies sur l'environnement et le développement (1992); le développement durable est l'objectif primordial de la communauté internationale.
Il dépend de la transformation simultanée des systèmes économiques, sociaux et environnementaux.
Cette transition n'est plus une option mais un impératif.
Le développement durable nécessite également la mobilisation de toutes les ressources pour une transition sûre et efficace vers la durabilité.
la problématique de cette étude est la mesure dans laquelle l'Algérie a adopté des mécanismes pour relever les défis environnementaux et législatifs,car La situation économique et environnementale exige une action rapide avec les Composantes de la société civile pour réduire le coût de la transition vers la durabilité.
