English Abstract

The subject we deal with in this intervention is the impact of cinema in the novel Cadirate Bassaria (Visual Cadres) by the novelist Mahmud Alghitany, based on presuming that this novel rebels against sex limits.

Thus, it paves the way for emergence of a new narrative type in the Arab world.

It is worth mentioning also that this narrative type known as film story cineroman has appeared and evolved in the western world in the fifties with the new novel, which found its extension by some writers in the cinematographic expression.

That is how people like Marguerite Duras and Alain Robbe-Grillet moved to directing after working together with Alain Resnais.

Therefore, the novelist Duras worked in 1959 on the scenario and dialogues of the film Hiroshima My Love, while Robbe- Grillet worked on the script of the film Last Year at Marienbad in 1964.

To highlight this concept we go for discussing many elements within the novel Visual Cadres according to the following methodology: 1-Influence and impact between cinema and novels a- The influence of novels in cinema b- The influence of cinema in novels c- Similarities and differences 2-Manifestations of cinema in the novel Visual Cadres a-Thresholds (introducing a bunch of clues that guide the reader and help preparing him for a reading that is promising of a different narrative world): -The title -The dedication -The subject b- Techniques: -Shot technique -The flashback -The montage Recording technique
