Abstract EN

Praise to Almighty Allah and peace and prayers be upon the Prophet Muhammed .

Threefold in the Glorious Quran are various and large in number.

This research is limited to examine threefold in Surat Al – Baqara only as there are so many examples in it.

Surat Al – Baqara contains nominal threefold, verbal threefold and nominal verbal threefold.

These three types of Quranic threefold form a connected picture or scenery , The research is divided into three parts : The first part includes verbal Quranic threefold as the third Aya of Surah Al – Baqara was from this type .

The second part contains nominal threefold.

The third part investigates nominal verbal threefold which are broader than the first two types because of the large number of examples in the Surah .

All types of threefold have at least one or more than one rhetorical purpose such as revealing situation , threatening , warning , cautioning , inhibition , specification….
