This Study investigates the language of the Andalusia Poet AL-Mutamid Ibn Abbad of Seville (437-484h) .
Who is regarded the most outstanding Poet in the era of al tawaif .
The research collected the vocabulary mentioned in the peotry and arranged them alphabetically them ,the vocabulary were classified into groups depending on their use literally or figuratively .
The study shows that the poet AL Mutamid was impressed by synonymous and derivative words which reflects the poets knack for words choice.
