Abstract EN

This work is the second part of the publication and realization of a manuscript in the French National Library under number 5022; in which the author addresses the biography of the great Bey Mohamed, his efforts for liberating the city of Oran from the Spanish occupation, and his most important political, military and civilisational achievements.

It shows that the manuscript is just a translation from French to Arabic for the study of Georgios A.

Gorguos about the great Bey Mohamed, published in the African Journal of 1856 and 1857.

The manuscript deals with the life of the man and his work, and the opening of the city of Oran.

I defined the manuscript, explained its tasks, compared its content with what is contained in historical sources, and commented on what needs to be commented on.
