Trips of all kinds form a historical record that reveals the realities of the nations, and the secrets of civilization and urbanization.

The travelers leave their families and nations, cross the seas, and challenge the wilderness to discover the world and record the observations they obtain in the visited countries and places.

They describe different political, social, cultural facts, depending on writing reports or literary texts.

Algeria has known a great deal of activity in this area of human discovery, both in recent and ancient times.And many travelers who went to the horizons in search of knowledge and exploration, have some of their trips distinguished by scientific activity.

Therefore, they became full of science, literature, history, sociology, and other arts.

Among these trips (travel literature) is the journey of Tayeb Al-MHADJI, that he called "the powerful of munitions and the best of exploits".

(anfus aldhakhayir wa'utib almathir).

This journey contains a lot of linguistic science and legitimacy .

The imminent Shaykh represents a reformist religious phenomenon that brought to him an original talent, which has enabled him to occupy a high position in linguistic and legal sciences.

He became thus, one of the most famous Algerian scientists in history.

It is obvious that any scientist in the world can not illuminate people with hisknowledge and production unless he is actively communicative, Therefore, our Shaykh undertook various scientific trips, such as his journey to Makkah, Tunisia,...etc.

There, he met several Shaykhs and received many diplomas (Ijaza), which contributed to the great cultural interaction between him and other Islamic scholars.

Through communication many of them discovered the Shaykh's ability and his extraordinary scientific talent.

Tayeb Al-MHADJI’s voyage deals with precise scientific issues in linguistics, such as grammar, the sciences of legitimacy, fatwas and fiqr nawazil (jurisprudence); the fact which made it clear that the Shaykh was able to learn linguistic and legal sciences.

This also shows his amazing ability to deal with these issues with deep analysis.

In my intervention I have focused on some of scientific aspects as an important factor in the cultural interaction between Algerian scientists and others scientists.
