Abstract EN

The present study was aimed to evaluate the competencies of teachers who teach children with Autism disorder effective teaching practices from their point of view in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in light of some variables.

The number of the respondents was (N-180) Autism disorder teachers .To achieve the study objectives, researchers have designed a study tool (Questionnaire) to evaluate and assess the competencies of those teachers from their point of view.

The researchers used the descriptive survey method to collect data .The study results showed that the competencies of teachers of children with Autism disorder effective teaching practices from their point of view were “High” within the standard scale as a whole.

Also, the study results showed that the existence of statistically significant differences in competencies of teachers due to experience variable for more than the (10) years, and the presence of statistically significant differences in competencies of teachers who attended training courses on effective practices in dealing with Autism.

On the other hand, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the competencies of teachers due to gender and educational qualifications variables.
