The study endeavours to identify the real work situation of women in the Gulf and the most outstanding issues/ problems they face.

The importance of this study stems from the lack of studies related to the vocational position of women in the Gulf who is cxpcctcd to excrcise and important role in development.

Therefore, identifying such problems is considered the firs step towards.

solving most of the problems dial reside in the societies of the Gulf.

There is no doubt that women in the Gulf make up a large segment of the Gulf societies of the Gulf.

There is no doubt tliat women in die Gulf societies, starting at home as a house wife to the highest posts such as ministers and alike.

Hence, the study sheds light onto identifying the developmental dimensions of women's vocation and the main endorsed specifications that measure the effectiveness of women cither working or staving redundant in the GCC States.

The study will also shed light on the main obstacles diat stand against women in there right to assume work Hie results of the study revealed that die working woman in the Gulf is not given die opportunity to teach high positions in mist of the vocations She also suffers as her abilities and aptitudes arc not rccognizcd and thus not appreciated which resulted in a state of social and psychological anxiety.

This prompts us to review all labour legislations for amendment, intensify surveys and site applied studies in order to reveal die changes and developments that accompany the exercise of work by women in die Gulf.
