The reporting regime is considered to be one of the most important mechanisms for the effective control of human rights at the regional and international levels, since it obliges States parties to report on legislative and judicial measures taken to guarantee human rights in international conventions, and the Arab Human Rights Commission sees itself as the only mechanism that makes this mission within organizations of the Arab States to guarantee the provisions of the Arab Charter of Human Rights.
