Abstract EN

In this Article we examine aspects of the impact of foreign intervention in Libya in 2011 on the situation in Libya and then on the national security of Algeria and its strategic vision towards what are happening regionally.

The Libyan crisis has shifted from an internal affair to an international affair as a result of the conflict of Western interests within it and the various political and wealth-related bets.

The intervention of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in March 2011 is another factor in the security situation and its repercussions for our country.

Algeria is threatened by the transfer of various new threats to it, such as the arms trade, the terrorist threat and others.

This has made Algeria balance its strategic vision between the necessities of maintaining national security and, in turn, supporting regional security as we shall see.
