The current research aims to identify : First : The level of serious creativity among university students.

Second: Significance of differences in the level of serious creativity among university students according to the variables of gender (males, females), academic specialization (scientific, human) and grade (second, fourth).

The current research was determined by the students of Al Qadisiyah University for specialization (humanitarian and scientific), second grade (fourth grade) for morning study, and both types (male and female) for the academic year (2016-2017).

In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers built a measure of serious creativity among the university students, based on the theory of de Bono, and the scale in its final form after completing the conditions of honesty and stability and the ability to distinguish, from (45), divided between four areas Are spontaneous (spontaneous), mental motivation, style, and liberation).

In addition to this, the researchers applied the scale to a sample of (400) male and female students at Qadissiya University, which was withdrawn by the random stratified method chosen according to the proportional method for the academic year 2016-2017.

After the data collection and statistical processing using SPSS, The research reached the following results: 1- University students have a low level of serious creativity.

2 - male university students have a serious creativity higher than students.

3 - that the students of the university of scientific specialization more creative than serious students of human specialization.

4 - There are no differences in the degree of creativity seriously between students in the classrooms (second - fourth).

5 - The university students have differences in the degree of creativity seriously depending on the interaction of the type (male - female) with specialization (scientific - human) and grades (second - fourth).

6 - There are no differences in the degree of serious creativity depending on the interaction of specialization (scientific - human) with the grades (second - fourth).

7 - There are no differences in the degree of serious creativity as a result of the interactions between the variables of gender (male - female), and the academic specialization (scientific - human), and grades (second - fourth).

According to the findings of the current research, the research came out with a number of recommendations and proposals, including: 1 - Attention to the educational institution teachers and methodology and management and make the creativity logo for them and the introduction of strategies of creativity in all aspects of serious aspects of public education curricula starting from kindergartens in order to improve that skill.

2 - provide an environment that supports the creativity of students, so should provide them with materials that motivate them to think in an interesting template and stimulate creativity.

3.

Conduct a similar study for the current study at other stages of study.

4 - Conducting a development study of serious creativity across different stages of life.
