The war between Iraq and Iran burst out for no convincing and valid reason as the war continued for eight years, where both sides received huge losses in both funds and the lives of people had been destroyed.

Both sides used all sorts of weaponry available to them, even the weaponry which was internationally illegal.

All the attempts to stop the war by Islamic and international personalities failed which was due to the plan of the west by outside powers for both countries to continue the war with the aim of draining the capabilities of the Islamic nation and for the purpose of selling as many stacked weapons as possible by the global arms companies.

Since the start of the war, there was an unmatched interest from the Swedish press in the course of the war due to its consequences for the region and the world, however, after a period which is not so long we find that the same press started to turn its back on the events of the war, rarely publishing anything about it.

This may have been due to the extent of the war which was predicted for it to come to an end sooner than eight years.

In addition, the wars impact on the global oil supplies appeared to be much lower than European analysts had expected.
