Abstract EN

The modern era witnessed a radical transformation in the understanding and interpretation of the concept of revelation.The contemporary Islamic intellectual scene witnessed some bold and varied writings in the subtraction and the emergence of the critical spirit regarding the issue of Revelation and Prophecy, especially the writings of Hisham Jouait, Abdul Karim Sroush, Nasr Hamed Abu Zeid and Muhammad Mujtahd Al-Shabstari And others.

In order to identify the views of these innovating thinkers and to clarify the face of innovation, we tried to present a comprehensive study of the concept of revelation in traditional Islamic thought, represented by the Ash'ari and Al-Aqsa scholars and the philosophers of Islam.
