This study deals with the retailment of two captive crusaders, Baldwin de Burg, and Joscelin de Courtenay, who were captivated imprisoned during the Battle of Harran (1102 A.D /497 A.H) which took place between Muslims and the Crusaders .The study focuses on the details of this captivity within the writings of the two historians: Anon.

Syrian chronicler who represents the view of the Assyrians of the Crusades and, on other side, Ibn Al –Athir(D.630 A.H/1232 A.D) representing the Islamic side about this event.The narrations provided by these two historians were the most detailed tha writings that deals with the period of Crusades.
