Abstract EN

This study attempts to monitor the civilizational conflict in Amna Ben Mansour's Zikrayat Jabal Tariq (Memories of Gibraltar), a polyphonic novel, as a force that pushes the recipient to interact with events and characters, in a manner in which the recipient is almost a participant of all energies in forming creative space.

Though it stands on weak legs in the soil of creative work, and employs its intellectual and artistic energies, it tries to reveal points of civilizational conflict or the points of contact between the parties of the conflict.

This study tries to answer urgent questions such as, what is the reason for confrontation? What is the nature of confrontation? The study examines the Islamic vision to put these conflicts through the literary works and the critical analysis of all elements of the literary work, disclosing the means and tools employed by the writer in structuring her fictional space in several sections in the paper.
