English Abstract

Algeria as a Mediterranean country has a diversity of resources and touristic fortunes different from one region to another, this chapter concerns the tourism in Algeria through we are going to clarify its reality and how much government care about, especially when tourism became a very important part in the developing programs of several countries.

Algeria which has big possibilities it can be a very important tourist country and it can realize positive results on the economical level through its contribution in the rise of the internal output and the improvement of the settled balance.

In order to know the situation of this section in Algeria and analyze its data, we are going to divide this chapter into three parts: the first is about the tourism vitals in Algeria and its types, the second is about the tourism policy in Algeria and its indices, and the third is about the Algerian tourism strategy from 2004to 2013
