Abstract EN

This study aims at demonstrating the role of educational and academic institutions in spreading the culture of community peace and development in Jordan .

The role of these institutions in educating individuals in order to become active citizens, to be aware of their rights and to be ready to assume their responsibilities.

Transition to democracy and participation in decision-making, while education aims to develop the behavior of individuals in a particular cultural environment, and curricula, books, and study materials, are means to achieve this goal, and help him to reach the best level of psychological and social maturity within the perspective of his culture, and recommends the study To raise students awareness of the concepts of security, peace and social equality, and to focus schools and universities on developing a national security sense to face violence and all that threatens social peace in a way that enhances the development process.
