This study aims at understanding the impact of human resources management practices in achieving competitive advantage.

The Case Study of King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia The problem of the study is to exacerbate administrative problems in organizations which hinders the achievement of competitive advantage.

The study stems from the lack of research and studies that dealt with the human resources strategy.

The study also explained the results and recommendations that will lead to the promotion of performance at King Khalid University.

The study followed the historical approach, the deductive approach and the case study methodology The descriptive approach using the SPSS program for the introduction of the study data was used in percentages, standard deviation and quasi-square test for the responses of the study society.

The study data were collected by questionnaire.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is to prove the validity of all hypotheses
