The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between life skills and academic adjustment for the students in the faculty of educational science, the faculty of arts, the faculty of science and the faculty of nursing at the University of Jordan.The study sample consisted of (515) students (104males, and 411 females).
For the purpose of the study two scales were used: life skills and the academic adjustment.
Results of the study showed that the level of life skills of Jordanian university students came in a highly rate, but academic adjustment came moderately as used rate.
Results showed statistically significant moderate relationship between life skills and the academic adjustment.
A stepwise multipleregression analysis revealed that adaptation and self-management skills dimension explained (16.7%) of the variance of academic adjustment
