This paper aims to study the cultural interaction in the Arabian nights by studying the conflict between the Islamic and European civilizations by describe the story of King Al-Nu'man.

This story is the longest story of the Arabian nights because it occupies 100 and one nights.

The story is based on three generations, such as the contemporary novels, the generation of the forefathers, the generation of children and the generation of grandchildren.

The basis for the conflict is the cultural identity between the Islamic state, the Byzantine state and the Roman state.

1-This story was added to Arabian nights in the late Fatimid state or the end of the fifth century.

2- the story depicting the vision of Islam tolerant and even reconciled with the other.

3-The story is characterized by a structure of epic and poetic style can be compared to the style of Homer.
