Abstract EN

This study is aiming to reveal the mental image of the woman’s virtual identity through social networking websites, as we used a sample study about facebook users in Algeria depending on a questionnaire for data collecting which was divided into two main parts : Part one : the woman’s virtual identity through facebook website.

Part two was about the mental image of woman’s virtual identity as seen by the Algerian man, The study had reached a set of results most of them confirmed the transition of the community general beliefs and thoughts of women in arabic society to this virtual world where it is difficult to separate the physical and the virtual existence.
