Abstract EN

The Study seeks to find out about the rural/nomadic areas and their social, economical and political problems that have occurred as a following the changes in the GCC countries as there is a very strong relationship between the comprehensive social development and the currently prevailing conditions.

The study concentrates on the reasons that led to stopping short from carrying out social development and care in the rural/nomadic in an equivalent manner to that given to the civil/urbanized areas.

The study seeks to specify the rural/nomadic areas in the GCC countries and show the most common characteristics of the nomadic society.

Besides, it pinpoints the basic common and individual needs for the achievement of the favorable social development.

The study of the social development in the nomadic areas creates a new trend in the social anthropology which comprises many integral parts of a complex social and cultural situation.

In order to give deeper dimension to the study, the researcher used a descriptive method to describe and to present the used data.

Then the researcher specified the analysis procedures and their analytical indications in order to reach conclusions.

The study yielded many result, The most important is identifying the main perspectives that when integrated and interacted, They make up the important role the region can play as a united area to achieve social development in the rural/nomadic areas.

It also leads to the achievement of the highest development for the nomadic Arab in various economic sectors such as agriculture and industry.

This necessitates the establishment of an effective transportation grid between the agrarian lands and the nomadic populated areas.

The reached conclusions prompted the following recommendations: •There is a need to create revolutionary demographic changes that make a balance between both the rural/nomadic and the developed areas.

•Increase the cultural base among citizens in order to eliminate the social obstacles which resist change.

•Seek to promote investments to increase the national revenue in the nomadic society.

•Establish an ecological situation through which the isolation imposed on the nomadic society is broken by increasing and utilizing the advanced technology and communication means.
