This paper tackles the effect of acceptance of an appeal on the principle that "the petitioner has a right to an appeal" under Jordanian law.

where he reached the object of the objection to the conciliatory judgment in absentia of this principle, because, although it is not explicitly stated in the law of conciliation courts, an Absentee appeal to the sentence makes that sentence an acquired right that cannot be compromised by compromising the status of the appellant.

On the other hand, I found that the appellant to the absentee judgment issued by the Court of First Instance in criminal or criminal cases that accepts the appeal to the objection does not benefit from the principle that "the petitioner has a right to an appeal", on the grounds that that sentence has lapsed once the sentence is accepted in form and hereto the stated ruling cannot be considered an acquired right, not permissible, because the sentence appeal has lapsed and therefore the lapsed ruling does not stand
