Abstract EN

This research intends to answer two questions; “What are the economic effects of the Syrian refugees on Jordan?” and “What are the social effects of them on Jordan?” The research hypothesis: “The Syrian Refugees has caused great negative effects on Jordan in both economic and social terms.

This has been reflected in Jordan's geo-strategic interests and caused the creation of additional economic and social challenges for Jordan”.

So it depended on two methodologies: (The Descriptive Analytical and The Levels of Analysis).

According to that, the research divided into: Introduction: includes the humanitarian role of Jordan since its establishment, as an embodiment of the Great Arab Revolt principles.

Currently, Jordan receives approximately 1.4 million Syrian refugees since the beginning of the crisis.

First chapter: reportn on the significant negative impacts of Syrian Refuges on Jordan in deferent economic aspects, second chapter: includes effects of the refugees’ influx on the exacerbation of social problems, the negative social and criminal behavior engaged or caused by Syrian refugees.

Conclusion: the results reached, and proves the research hypothesis, recommendations to overcome this crisis, its outcome and its consequences.
