Abstract EN

This study aims to indicate the legal regime governing the commercial agent contract issue tinged with a foreign element, through the statement of the law applicable to the commercial agent with international character in the absence of specific legislation, as well as international standard to hold the commercial agent, and then some statement rigid and flexible attribution duck in light of Jordanian legislation and the legislation of other States, as well as the position of the international conventions on the law applicable to the commercial agent's contract, the adequacy of these controls and their application to such a contract.

The study concluded that the Jordanian legislature explicit legal texts did not address the question of determining the law applicable to the commercial agent with international character, so the study called for Jordanian legislator to address this shortcoming through legislative intervention to develop rules of attribution, especially suited to the nature of a commercial agent International character, as the Bahraini and Kuwaiti legislation and other legislation.
