Abstract EN

The study first deals with separatist tendencies as a theoretical concept, and then moves on to the model of separation of Iraqi Kurdistan as a case study.

It stems from two basic assumptions.

First, that there are local, regional and international data that play the biggest role in the success of a region's separation from its mother country.

Second.

The role of local and regional dimensions in the failure of the separation of the Kurdistan region of Iraq from the mother country.

The study reached the truth of its first and second hypotheses.
