Abstract EN

This research discusses electoral bribery and its most common forms which is buying and selling of votes in elections.

It compares the Jordanian legislation with Arab, Anglo-Saxon and French legislations.

The research reveals the shortcomings of the Jordanian legislation concerning decriminalizing certain acts and a set of practices that influence will of voters and affect righteousness of election including ostensible candidacy.

The researchers come up with a number of proposals in order to develop the electoral law to ensure the integrity of the elections, rightness of voters' representation, boost confidence in House of Representatives and upgrading of democratic practice in Jordan.
