The research aims to clarifying the Soviet position of the Islamic revolution in Iran 1979.

As a result of the Soviet's attempts to gain privileges and interests in Iran, they supported the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979, then tried to win them in their struggle against the Western magnate .
