Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to find out the sources of job stress in the workers and their impact on their performance in the company "Saoura Cement" Bechar A questionnaire was developed to collect data and answer study questions.

The study sample included 64 workers.

The study revealed that both sources: job demands and lack of control were high, while other sources (support, change, work environment, ambiguous and conflicting roles, relations at work) were low.

Accordingly, the level of job stress among employees as a whole was moderate.

In return, the job performance was high.

The study also found that there was no statistically significant effect of job stress and its sources on the job performance of employees.

The study recommended that the management of the company should give importance to stress, work to reduce the workload of workers by properly redesigning work and effective management by appropriately allocating jobs, and further enhancing workers' participation in decisions related to their direct work in particular.
