Abstract EN

The implementation of the Pan-Arab free trade Area began in early 1998 and by .2005 all taxes and customs duties had completely removed between the Arab countries acceding to the free trade Area, which included 17 countries applied a full exemption on inter-trade, while three countries have been treated as least developed countries, The membership has grown recently to eighteen with the entry of Algeria in 2009.

With regard to the impact of Pan-Arab free trade Area on Algeria, it seems too early to judge the effectiveness of Decision specially it has been less than two years to Algeria's accession to the Convention, This will be addressed in this research through the statistics Data and analysis, which showing that t cided he influence was in favor of the growth of imports, which coinwith the decline in their exports to Arab countries, despite the fact that many Algerian products enjoy relative advantages in some Arab markets .but this comparative advantage is not sufficient unless accompanied by a competitive advantage and take some actions accompany with its accession.
