This study discusses the importance of the role played by the Tunisian military in protecting and supporting the revolution in achieving its .And how the army is committed a neutrality to realise the democratization? The study also aims to understand the reasons and motives behind the Tunisian army's positive role.

At the time when the military institution in Egypt intervened to abort the democratic experiment and revolt against the electoral legitimacy enjoyed by the brothers Muslims, the Tunisian army stood on the sidelines of the political process and dealt with the sensitive stage with highly professionalism, protecting Tunisia from a profound crisis.

This has helped Tunisia to pursue the democratic path in a peaceful and smooth manner, making it a model of democracy after it has made a good strides in the democratic process compared with other Arab Spring states.
