Abstract EN

Under the pressure that corporation is facing from stakeholders, the term corporate social responsibility (CSR) constitute as a concept which creates balance between social, economic and environmental targets.

In one of the most important steps of the concept development, the European commission edited GREEN PAPER in 2001 to strengthen the European framework of the social responsibility, therefore it gives the social responsibility a new direction by focusing on the internal dimension of Human Resource Management (HRM) as a field that is integrated in social responsibility practice.

And whether the efforts made by Algeria at the international and national levels from agreements, projects, agencies and organizations were involved in the adoption of social responsibility.

This is the case with (GCB) that began a series of responsible practices towards various stakeholders according to the policy of Sonatrach ,which incorporated social responsibility into its strategy by adopting an integrated management system consisting of ISO9001V2008 and Health, Safety and Environment system (HSE).
