Abstract EN

The study dealt with the Sadness in the poetry of Tigani Yousif Bashir and Idres Mohammed Gamaa, The study focused as well in their lives and the cause of their sadness.

It also made a comparison between the two poets, specially to the sadness of their poetry where it reaches to concision that illness is the main factor which colored their lives with this sadness.

It is worth mentioning that this study has followed the descriptive analytical approach.

The study has reached to asset of results as follow: The two poyeds loved isolation as a result of being sick which colored their lives with sadness.

The two parts were related to the Romantic School where enabled them transmit their sadness and grieves the nature.

Tigani characterized his pholosophy of life with a great knowledge of Arab and western philosophy, while it is not the case with Idres Gamaa.

Tigani showed his sadness in his poetry while Gamaa didn't show all his reasons of sadness, but he referred to them in general.
