Abstract EN

We are trying to study this subject, in which we do not claim the primeur, to care for those with special needs especially the blind persons, through the book of Salah Al-din Khalil, Ibn Aybak Al Safadi: "Nokat Al Hamiane Fi Nokat Al Omiane".

This workbook drew our attention through its texts that included many blind scholars within the category of the special needs people in the Islamic world, both in east and the Maghreb, but our research will be dedicated only to those in the Maghreb, through this source that paid early attention to this category.

The Safadi writing about them dates back to the end of the seventh Hijri century and the beginning of the eighth.

The Saffadi has discussed in detail the impact of the disabled through a category that has become more preoccupied with the loss of vision, to serve its societies and to leave the effects of this service to the generations that come after it, through its generosity and talking about their own intellectual issues, at the same time wondering about the role that characterized this category.

What enabled her to have writing about her and to be seen in the Islamic age? In order to draw the attention of researchers to a social group, many of its members have always contributed to the cultural construction of their societies, as their physical or functional circumstances have allowed them to do so.

A historical, descriptive, analytical method was adopted, according to a documented study, in a modest attempt to rehabilitate the people with special needs, by keeping the contemporary generation of this category aware about the glorious past of their ascendants throughout Islamic history.

I disagreed with the author in his enumeration of the scholars, which were scattered on the pages of the book by classifying them chronologically according to the oldest death dates.

And then study and retrace each scholar through other available sources to enrich this research.
