The Iraqi Rashid Al-Khayun launched a harsh attack on the Umayyad governor Al-Hajjaj bin Yousef Al-Thaqafi, accusing him of every deficiency and stripping him of every virtue in an article included in his written in Arabic book entitled "La Islam bela Mathaheb wa Torous Aukhr min alturath".

There was no abnormality or deviation in the article of Al-Khyoun, as this is the picture of the pilgrims of the early and late.

I found in El-Khyoun’s words an opportunity to reopen the biography of Al-Hajjaj and reconsider it objectively.
