معوقات الإبداع في المكتبات الجامعية الأردنية في إقليم الوسط من وجهة نظر العاملين فيها

Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the obstacles of creativity in the Jordanian university libraries in the Central Region from the point of view of their staff, and to find out whether there are statistically significant differences (α=0.05I between the means of respondents due to variables: type of job, specialization, gender, educational qualification and experienceN Study sample included all (192) library staff of whom (126) respond (65.6%).

A questionnaire was developed to answer the study questions consisted of (48) items distributed over four areas.

The validity and reliability of the tool were confirmed.

Results showed that the total score of Staff estimation of the obstacles of creativity in the Jordanian university libraries was generally average.

Physical and technological obstacles were ranked first, while personal obstacles ranked last.

Statistical significant deferences at (α=0.05) were found due to gender in favor of males.

Nevertheless, statistically significant differences at (α=0.05) were not found due to the variables: library type, job type, specialization and education
