Abstract EN

This study seeks to reveal the role of the external environment of the Awqaf sector in societies and countries, this role is being studied considering that the endowment sector grows, flourishes and develops in a direct relationship with the growth that occurs in the external environment of any working institution in any given society.

By external environment, we mean the range of conditions and factors that affect the structure of the institution and its development.

In fact, any institution operating in a social or economic environment will affect and be affected, a natural consequence of the principle that the meeting and gathering generates interaction and may also result in conflict, this also applies with no exception to Awqaf institution that can’t work in isolation from the surrounding environment, they interact in the form of inputs and outputs in a continuous format.

The importance of the sustainability of the Awqaf institution and its continued impact on the community or the state is broadly measured by its ability to successfully interact with the environment, and the use of its components in the service of the Awqaf’s agenda, besides the use of legislation and laws in its favor, especially if it succeeds in overcoming its external environment, [such as dealing with the courts.

It is this environment, (the external) that drives the change in the social, political, legal, economic, and others in the state, and this is the challenge that any Awqaf institution aspires to.
