This article deals with the role of the city of Setif in organizing the field and its structure as a pole attracting development.

Tins requires clarifying the characteristics and nature of this role which is mainly related to the quality and nature of the field interventions taking place that reflect the urban and regional transformations resulting from the polarization process.
