In this paper , we are dealing with " The ghots of the killed city ", a novel written by M.
Bechir Mefti from Algeria.
In his work, the violence that his country knew during the 90's is presented.
Different aspects of the violence have been treated: the cruelty of the religious terrorism and the aggressions against the intellectuals and women are presented as political and social violence.
This subject has been treated with the hope to conceive a secure , a civilized and a prosperous society in the future.
The writer expressed his wishes for a better life inside his country for the next generations
