Abstract EN
This study is concerned with the book of " al-'Ayn " attributed to Al-Khalil ibn Ahmad Al-Farahidi, it includes two topics.
The first of which was regarding the editors' comments concerning texts that have errors, while the second linked to their absolute judgments.
We have concluded that correcting errors is possible; if we adopt the dictionaries that taken from the book of " al-'Ayn ", in addition to literary books.
Moreover, we found that some of the editors' judgments were wrong.
